'Bio' meaning 'life' and 'philia' meaning 'love of'. Biophilia is the idea that humans have an innate, predetermined affinity with nature and other life forms. This dance work draws influence from this hypothesis and uses nature as a stimulus to form abstract patterns and movement phrases.
