Ariadne is the soul-searching tale of a woman who misunderstands herself and the nature of who we are as humans, told through stunning contemporary dance with live orchestra. Ariadne delves into the famous Greek myth of Theseus and the Minotaur from an entirely new point of view.

A wild and angry Minotaur, sent by Poseidon to punish the Minoans, resides in a deep labyrinth of which Princess Ariadne is keeper. When the hero Theseus comes to rescue the group of sacrificial young people and kill the Minotaur, Ariadne devises a plan to help Theseus and escape the island. Ariadne soon learns that while she can escape an island, she cannot escape from herself.
